Claremont-Colleges

The Claremont Colleges is a consortium of seven institutions in Claremont, California, including five undergraduate liberal arts colleges (Pomona, Scripps, Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, and Pitzer) and two graduate schools. The most popular majors across the colleges include econometrics and quantitative economics, experimental psychology, political science and government, systems science, international relations, and philosophy, with Claremont McKenna particularly known for economics and government programs. The colleges are particularly renowned for their highly ranked programs in economics, government, political science, international relations, and STEM fields, with Harvey Mudd specializing in science, engineering, and mathematics. The campuses are located in the quintessential college town of Claremont, a suburban city of 35,000 people situated 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains foothills, known as the "City of Trees and PhDs."
