HELLO!

Jeanette has a BS in Health and Human Sciences from Colorado State University and a certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, San Diego. She received professional training from the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) Summer Training Institute for college counselors. She attends conferences, seminars and college education updates monthly,and utilizes webinars and podcasts to further her knowledge. Visiting 30+ colleges every year helps her share first-hand experience with her students.

 

Jeanette has a unique gift for connecting with students and their families, facilitating their desired academic outcomes. She believes every student has unique talents and abilities, and by taking the time to get to know these, she helps them discover the path that is right for them after high school. With her experience and understanding of the detailed and complex process, her core values of hard work and honesty helps make researching the college application process less stressful.

 

Previously, she was a Healthcare recruiter, owning a medical recruiting franchise that placed professionals in various jobs in the medical field. This included restructuring resumes, researching available jobs, interviewing prospective clients and prepping them for interviews. She has been involved in the schools and community for 30+ years, serving on various committees and in volunteer positions. As a board member of St. Germaine Children's Charity, she has chaired the annual Awards lunch, held key positions for their major fundraiser and has been an active member of the Grant's committee conducting site visits to needy charities as well as writing grant reports.
