More Colleges go Test Optional

The College Board and ACT have been forced to cancel multiple test dates for the SAT and ACT due to the pandemic making it difficult for students to take the tests. As a result, many colleges are adopting test optional policies either permanently, or for application year 2020 only. This was predicted after the college admissions scandal in 2019 which questioned the validity of the tests. FairTest has a full list of colleges that do not require standardized testing. Some of these colleges were previously test optional and range from extremely selective to easy to gain admission.
