Accept your offer at a UC
Accepting a freshman or transfer admission offer: Students accept an admission offer by agreeing to and meeting the provisions/conditions outlined in the offer and submitting their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) with the SIR deposit to reserve their space at a campus. Denials, Deferrals and Wait Lists
Students and counselors are shocked, frustrated and disappointed with the number of deferrals and wait lists this year. Colleges where students normally would be accepted, have denied them admission or placed them on wait lists with not much hope of getting off. Counselors, too are surprised to see students with high GPA's and test scores denied or waitlisted.
